Clipper™ sail ties, set of four.

Clipper™ sail ties are poly-webbing straps that fasten quickly and securely with acetal snap buckles. No more knot-tying – these sail-ties make securing your flaked sails to the boom easier and neater.
Clipper™ sail-ties come in sets of four, each 2.0m long. Each sail-tie can be adjusted for length by pulling the end of the tie at the buckle. If you wish to remove any excess length of strap this is easily done by cutting and then heat sealing the end with a lighter or match.

Colours available are Red or Blue.

Packed in a plastic bag with header card.

Clipper™ Davit Sling for inflatable, RIBS and hard dinghies.

These top quality davit slings provide the central connecting point for your dinghy davit hoists. They comprise two polyester webbing straps attached to a stainless steel lifting ring, each strap terminating in a stainless steel snap hook.

Made from heavy duty polyester webbing and 316 grade stainless steel these davit slings have a safe working load in excess of 140 kg, suitable for dinghies and RIB’s up to 3.5 meters with motor (up to 15 HP) attached. The polyester webbing has a breaking strength of 1400kg.

Typically two davit slings are used, one attached at the transom and the other attached to the internal lifting rings, or the towing rings, at the bow. One sling is connected to each davit hoist.

If required a single point hoist can be provided simply by bringing the two rings together and attaching the lifting line through both.

Most large dinghies are fitted with eye bolts in the transom and bow lifting rings; but if your dinghy doesn’t have them they can be fitted quite easily. Glue-on rings are available in Hypalon and PVC at most dinghy accessory suppliers.

Davit slings are available in three leg lengths: 32cm, 40cm and 50cm. In most applications a pair of slings the same length, bow and transom, will be the right choice. If you intend to use the external bow rings for lifting the front end, however, you might choose a longer sling for the front, paired with a shorter sling at the transom.

Supplied loose.

Towing Bridle for your inflatable dinghy.

Our Clipper™ Towing Bridle provides secure and stable towing of inflatable dinghies and tenders. It is designed for use on dinghies that have two towing rings on the bow tubes. This two-point towing system provides great stability.

The Towing Bridle is 1.6 meters long and attaches to the dinghy towing rings with two 70 mm stainless carbine hooks and to your towing line by a 45 mm stainless steel ring. An orange plastic float prevents the bridle from sinking when detached from the towing vessel.

The Clipper™ Towing Bridle is manufactured in the UK using 25mm black uv-stable polyester webbing with a breaking strain in excess of 1200kg. The ring and carbine hooks are made from AISI 316 grade stainless steel.

In cardboard box with label.

Automatic LED anchor and general utility light, 12v - runs off the boat’s batteries.

Rugged and reliable, it automatically switches on at dusk and off at dawn to conserve power.

The ‘bulb’ in this anchor light is a regulated cluster of nine wide-angle, super-bright LED’s. Eight LED’s provide the 360º horizontal pattern and a ninth in the end of the cluster provides down light. Visibility in excess of 3nm.

LED’s (light emitting diodes) have very low power consumption and an extremely long life, typically 50,000 hours or more.

Fitted with our unique triple O-ring sealing system.

Complies as an anchor light for recreational vessels under 20m.

Motor Grip™

The Motor Grip™ provides a secure, top mounted, ergonomic lifting handle for outboard motors.

For transferring your outboard from transom to cockpit, from tender to boat or from boat to dock the Motor Grip allows you to keep ‘'one hand for yourself'’. Lifting an outboard motor vertically requires two hands and a precarious balancing act! The Motor Grip provides a single comfortable lifting handle on top of the motor, leaving your other hand free to support yourself.

Made in UK from strong polyester webbing and acetal snap buckles the Motor Grip can be quickly and easily attached to the motor. Should you wish, Motor Grip can be permanently left on the motor – it won’t interfere with motor operation.

Fits most 2 stroke and 4 stroke motors up to 6HP weighing around 25kg.

Packed in plastic bag with header card.

Motor Lift™, lifting harness for outboard motors to 15HP (50kg):

The Motor Lift™ provides a secure, central, top mounted lifting point for outboard motors.

Handles 2 stroke or 4 stroke motors up to 15HP, weighing up to 50kg.

For transferring your outboard motor from dinghy to boat or from boat to dock the Motor Lift provides the central lifting point that allows the motor to be hoisted vertically.

Made in UK from strong polyester webbing, acetal Ladderloc adjusters and stainless steel D-ring, the Motor Lift can be easily attached to the motor. Motor Lift can be permanently left on the motor – it won’t interfere with motor operation.

An optional safety strap is included. This strap holds the two main straps together so they can’t slip off the motor; particularly useful for some of today’s smooth bodied designs.

Fits most 2 stroke and 4 stroke motors up 15 HP weighing under 50kg.

(For portable outboard motors, typically up to 6HP, we recommend our Motor Grip™ which has an ergonomic lifting handle)
